I hope someone can help me. I have a 93 4.0 X with 272k on it and at idle, and only when warm, I get some type of thumping noise from the motor. I wouldnt say a "knock" because when you get out of the cab you cant hear it. Once again this only comes about when its warm. Ive tried loading it up and listening, but above 1k rpms it seems to go away. Oil level looks fine as well.
