Due to a dislocated knee cap I have not driven my X since the first of the month. I can bend my leg enough to get in her now so I have no choice but to hit a few trails! After sitting for a month I am sure she needs to strecth her legs as much as me! I tell you how it went when I get back.

Trash on the trail

I decided to go out by Indian spring wash and cruise on down to the Verde River. Trail conditions were good, a few idiots hauling @$$ in the first section of the wash that almost hit my X. I ended up taking FR532 down to the river then on my way out I took FR1104. The last set of storms that hit Arizona sure did cut some nice new ruts on the trail, but my stocker X had no probs. The only issue was that at the end of the trail I had a hard time taking it out of 4wd. I reached, and I stretched, i never knew it could be so hard to push a button. Finally my niece started complaining she was hungry so we rolled home.

I always bring trash bags with me when I hit the trail, I get pissed when I hear about trails being closed because of somekind of abuse so I try to do my part to help keep us all on the trail. Yesturday there wasn't much paper or plastic type trash, but ended up picking up more beer cans then i ever had. It seemed as if the beer of choice out the trail was bud light. I could go on for hours about drinking and drive but I wont. What I will say is, what ever you do on the trail is your business but PLEASE other then tire tracks don't leave any signs you were there!
