Well here is something that happened to me, Just had a valve job done to a set of heads put the rocker bolts back in and they wouldnt get tight so i just tightened them a little more and "pow!" the bolt broke off flush with the head took the other bolts out and inspected the holes and found shot beads in the hole causing the bolts not to seat and me breaking them,
So if you have a valve job done inspect the holes with a light or a magnet to see if they are free of debree, luck would have it they are going to repair the heads.
My tip of the week is to have a smaller bolt to insert in the blind holes to insure that it doesn't happen again or inspect the holes carefully before bolting them down one time is enough for me to learn.
Tune in next week same time same channel
