2014 Explorer XLT
hi guys just bought a 2014 Explorer XLT w/ 45k with extended warranty till 100k

Can you guys give any tips or things I should look out for? So far the only thing I found is the water pump failure which should be covered by the warranty when it happens correct?

So far car is great but feels kind of cheap & it's basic for an XLT.

I thought the navi display was standard along with backup camera but none of those are on mine.

not sure. however my 2017 purchased in July is not worth S$^T compared to what I purchased it for. this is my first Explorer, not overly impressed with it for the money, My previous 4 rides were Ford Raptors and I hated the 17 so much I went to the explorer (since my 14 was already resold)

Ah I see, yeah I bought it from the 1st owner so hopefully most of the depreciation already happened.

This is also my first Ford & I was also expecting more quality. Compared to my old 2003 FX35 this feels much worst tech wise & quality wise.

Best suggestion I can give is to scroll through the threads in 3 of the sub forums. Here are a few that come to mind;

MFT with navigation was an option as far as I can recall. The 2014 Owner's Manual shows "REAR VIEW CAMERA SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)" so that also was an option.
It is also a good idea to read through the Manual a few times.
