Tips/Ideas on how to improve my '05 Explorer

I want to fix up my explorer and make it better for off-roading. Right now its fully stock no upgrades or anything. My plan right now is to put new tires on and get a lift kit installed. If anyone has any ideas of what i should do to my explorer that would be awesome to hear.

right now im in the process of seeking the right tire to put on. the BFG AT KO caught my eye. ive read mixed reviews on the tire and its lifespan. whats your take on my tire situation

The BFG AT KO is a great tire but a little over priced in my opinion. yokohoma makes good tires and look into procomps all terrain tire.

as for the lift. hit up a guy named roadbully or go to roadbullyoffroad.com I believe it is. then body lift for around 6 inches of lift.

6 inch lift? kinda big im thinking more in the range of 2-4 inches. i tried that website but it was non-exsistant. do you have a direct link to it?
