Could I fit 33x12.50 on a 15x7 rim without trouble? Also, will there be rubbing issues on a truck with that setup with 3" BL, AAL, TT, and shackles?

Maybe and maybe.

No one really reccommends putting 12.50 tires on 7" wheels. Some people have done it and said they've had no problems. If you're going to do it temporarily, I'd say do it. You may or may not get funny wear out of them.

As far as the rubbing.. you'll probably only have to do a little plastic trimming.. if that (no biggie). :D

well i'd like the 12.5 but unfortunately the wheels i want from summit are on backorder in the 10" size, maybe by the time i go to buy them they will be available

Why don't you get 8" rims?

thet only have 7 and 10

What kind of wheels are they? In my opinion, find some 8" ones instead.

they are the black powdercoat US Wheels from summit, and they are cheap ($45 each) thats the only reason i want then, otherwise ill keep the stock wheels on

There are lots of companys that make the same rim fo the same price. in a 15x8. Look for those you would be bette off with a 15x8. I know most of the places where i live wont mount a 12.50 on a 15x7 rim

lol.......well if i take my wheels/tires to a shop to be mounted they damn well better mount them or they'll never see my face there again :D

EDIT: where do you find these wheels online?

Well trust me they wont care. Its a liability thing i guess. Also if you do mount them on a 15x7 inch rim that can void any road hazard o waranty you have on the tire. Are you looking fo something like this?

yea something close to that would be good

They are from ameican racing. They are about the same price as the ones you mentioned. You can get them at discount tire firestone and pretty much anyplace that sells rims. They are good rims I had them and they held up pretty well. When i bought mine I got them for 35 a rim here is a link to there info.
AR-767

ok Alec tells me I should get a wheel with 3.75" backspacing, all these wheels i have been finding are 4" backspacing, will the wheels poke out the side?

Yeah 3.75 is a happy medium for back spacing. With 4 inch you may need to trim a little more to get them not to rub. . I believe the backspacing on the AR-767 is 3.75.

3.75" backspacing will push the tires out further, giving you less of a chance of rubbing suspension, firewall, or inner surfaces but increasing the chance of rubbing the bumper and the fender. IMO you can trim the metal and plastic, but can't trim your suspension! Also, wider is better for traction and stability.

The higher the backspacing number, the more the tires go in.

ok so with a 3.75" backspacing you are implying that i will probably rub with normal backspacing which is what? 3"? if im not going to rub with the original backspacing i'd like to keep it......the thought of my wheels poking out the side bugs me since i always make fun of other people for doing it saying they cant buy the correct rims

Duh brain fart thanks for correctin me alec :hammer:

Stock backspacing is usually 4.5 for the X and Rangers. If you use that backspacing you'll tear up your tires, rims, and suspension.
