2006 Explorer Eddie Bauer
This has probably been discussed at length, but I've searched and never really saw a complete answer.
I just bought my Mother's 2006 Eddie Bauer Explorer 2wd from her, it's in really good shape but it needs tires.
I want a taller tire but not wider. It currently has the stock 245/65-17's on it.
Will 245/75-17's fit without rubbing on a 2wd with a stock suspension?
That would technically be two inches more in circumference but no wider. I know height has some effect on rubbing but not as much as width.
Any thoughts or experience?
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! I don't have your answer, but found this for the sizes. 245/75R17 Tires
I like the narrow tires myself. Just hoping 235/15/75 stays available for a while yet, mine are 2018 and will need some sooner or later.

I am running 245/75-17 KO2s for a little over 40k miles. No rubbing, no trimming, stock rims, no spacers. My EB is 4WD. Full disclosure, I did add a 3"/2" leveling kit, but that was at about 25k on the tires.
