I recently purchased two 2007 explorers. Decided to sell one of them so I swapped tires and rims with the one I was selling because they were fairly new. After I swapped them all was well for about two days and then the tire pressure sensor fault light came on. The other vehicle is long gone so there is no swapping back. I was just wondering if there was any way of resetting it or if I had to take it in to the dealer. I hope that it can be reset without spending a lot of cash on it.

There is a way to reset it somewhere in these forums. I just dont remember where or have the time to look right now. I do belive it requires a special tool though.

You can get the tool off ebay cheap

I put cragar soft 8's on mine...and now the tire pressure monitor fault is constantly on..anyway to disable is completely?

It is possable you cant disable it as they are put there by a federal NTSB law that was passed a few years back. There is a seatbelt bypass so who knows.
