Looking at new tires, and I found a great deal on tires but they are 265/50 20s. Has anyone ram this size?
I know they are a little taller and wider, so I am worried about clearence.
Thanks

The shouldn't be a problem with the diameter variance (1.31%). The Sport has an optional tire that is P265/45ZR20. One thing to keep in mind is that if do not use dedicated Winter tires, a wider tire is not the best for Winter driving. I replace my 20" wheels with 17" for Winter driving.

I know it's only a little wider, but I was wondering if anyone has went to this size. Here is the table comparing the two.
255/50-20 265/50-20 Difference
Diameter inches (mm) 30.04 (763) 30.43 (773) 0.39 (10) 1.3%
Width inches (mm) 10.04 (255) 10.43 (265) 0.39 (10) 3.9%
Circum. inches (mm) 94.37 (2397.04) 95.61 (2428.45) 1.24 (31.42) 1.3%
Sidewall Height inches (mm)5.02 (127.5) 5.22 (132.5) 0.2 (5) 3.9%
Revolutions per mile (km) 671.39 (417.18) 662.7 (411.78) -8.69 (-5.4) -1.3%

I think I'd consider the overall diameter of the tire. The smaller overall diameter tire will in effect lower your overall gear ratio "some" . If you want or need a little more on the low end this could help, and might help, depending on tire compound, on the 60' time......best regards Plum

The tire I was asking about is slightly larger than the stock tire.

Although I can't say for sure, I think you will be okay. You are talking a + .39" difference. If you use the 'Search' function and the select Advanced Search, you can search on "tires" in the '2011 - 2014 Modified' forum and see that there are several threads on tires and wheels.
Good luck.

Thanks, I found a thread where a few guys were running this size without any rubbing. Sorry I searched first, but did not do the advanced search. That helped out tremendously.

Thanks again for you help and responses.
