I was planning to get some 31"s or so soon (soon as I sell my 2nd car and have the $). I was wondering if it'd make much difference to get 32"s or so? I know I'll be doing a TT and some shackles to get a boost and hopefully not having any rubbing... or at least minimally.
1. Is there gonna be much difference between 31-32? I was thinking of just going with the larger if the cost isn't really any different... but the TT and shackles I only plan to go about 1.5"
2. Will I need a change in backspacing... and if so, how do I go about this and what's cost?
3. I'm a retard when it comes to tires...... How do you know what will fit on 31x10.50x15? There are tons of different sizes, x../x../xx and I have no idea what fits on what and if there's really a difference between them?
4. Finally... All the ones I see online (All-Terrains) look like they're crap compared to a real offroader, like the Wrangler Mud-series. I want to make sure I have the best traction possible, but am worried about the tread wear on normal roads and also the traction I'll get on normal pavement with one designed for offroad use. I definitely don't need to get into an accident and kill myself
I plan to get Wrangler's, if it makes a difference. Probably ordered off tires.com, sent directly here and mounted/etc at a shop...
