Tire Questions

For a 99 xlt, factory rear end, gears, would 31X12.50 cause any problems, or is that too wide of a tire?

It would depend on what gear ratio you have.

As far as width goes it is not a problem.

gears should be fine and the width will be fine.

If he has 3.73 gears yes. If he has 3.55 gears it will be pushing it.

10-4, i believe ive got the 3.73's, but im not 100% sure, i reckon ill figure it out

I was just saying that because all my buddys with '99 xlt have 3.73s. Thats all

There is a chart somewhere on the forums that shows what the code means thats on the sticker thats inside the drivers side front door (same sticker that shows vin), i think D2 for instance is 3.73 gears...atleast thats whats in my 96 4x4 X
