Tire size

I have a 94' Explorer Sport, can I put on 31x10.5x15 tires on stock rims without any rubbing problems. Will a lift kit have to be used. I'd rather not use a lift kit if possible.

maybe....some seem to be able to and some are not. It seems to depend on the build of your exact truck. Go to a GOOD tire shop and they will test fit a tire for you. You will be able to fit it on if you're willing to do some triming though. It's just a bit more work though.

i just mounted a set of super swamper 31x9.5's on my 91 today. WHen turning as sharply as possible, there is very slight rubbing on the back sid of the wheel opening, on the plastic trim piece inside the wheel well. It looks like it can be easily moved back slightly too. #1x10.5's may rub slightly more.
