tire sizes

what is the widest tire that will fit on an OEM 16" wheel? it is 255/70 stock but i am wondering if a 265 or 275 will fit. is the rim 7" or 8" wide? thanks

265 will definatley fit, but i dunno about a 275. depends on what rims you have, either the tear drop, or fire ball rims. the tear drop are 16x7. once again i dont know about the fire balls.

i am referring to the 3 spoke chrome wheels.

they are all 15or16x7's

AND both tires well fit fine. You will just get more of the () look with the 275.
