Hi!

I found a deal on tires. Currently the tires are sized at 235/65/r18

I am wondering if 270/55/r18 will be ok to put on without future problems. My tires are so bald and i dont want to put $1000 in tires right now. And i dont want used ones. I found 5 new bf goodwrench A/T rh-5.... what do you all think?? I dont mind a chunky big tire.

Welcome Angela.

So I just changed from a 235/70R16 to a 265/60R18, a difference of about 1.5 inches in tire diameter and 1.1 inches in tire width. I was confident there would be no rubbing after reading several posts on here but, alas, I had some rubbing at full lock and when purposefully going over some steep angled surfaces to get a little flex in the front end. I had to do very minor trimming of the fender well. You can't even tell I cut it. Are you using the same wheel?
