Tire Specifications on an '01 Sport

I am clueless as to what specifications I should have for tires. I am currently running P235/70/16R American Generals and I hate them. I'm looking into getting BFG all-terrains in this size: LT265/75/16D. I want to beef up the tires b/c my generals are way to small and it makes my Explorer Sport look puny. So I am hoping I can install the BFGs b/c they would compliment my Ex. So my question is, Would it be alright to install these BFGs and if so, what must the psi be on the front and rear tires. And BTW I am a 99% street driver.

Yea 265's would fit perfect and give you the beefier look you want. It probably says on the tire what psi to run, but when you get them mounted the tire place will know what psi to run them with. Just ask them what they put in.
