Depends on where you are driving. I mean street vs trail vs rock vs mud, what % of each. Since it's IL, if you don't get separate winter tires then I'd suggest an all season with the 3PMSF winter designation (3 peak mountain snowflake).
If you aren't going off-road at all, you will generally get better wet and ice traction from avoiding all terrain tires of any kind. If you tow or haul loads you could benefit from higher pressure LT rated tires.
I only do light off-roading but still don't want to get stuck including in winter so last set I got was Cooper AT3 4S. They have a $70 rebate going on for another week.
Another popular AT tire is BFGoodrich KO2, or on the more expensive side, Michelin LTX. On the cheaper side there's Kumho AT51, or many different touring tires if you'll never take it off pavement.
