TIRES for 96'

I am looking for new tires for my 96' Explorer. This is my qusteion should I get 235/75/15 or 31X10.5X15 or bigger. Should I go with Goodyear, BFG, Michelin. I want very good mudd tires that would be ok on the street. I drive 85% off road and 15% on road. Would some one give me some help on picking my tires. That would be great. THANKS

BFG are arguably the best, and th elargest you can fit w/o a TT and shackles are 31's... So, if I could do it, I'd go with BFG AT KO's 31-10.5-15
