Hello all, have an 07 V8 that I am looking to add a more aggressive look to. Any one know what the largest size tire I can put on it is without getting any rubbing?

I've heard people on here say that 265 35 18 doesn't rub.

sorry I meat 265 65 18

A friend of mine ran 275/55/18 tires on his '07 Sport Trac. It looked pretty bad-@$$.

Does he have a body/suspension lift on it? If not, does he have any issues with rubbing?

Nope. He actually had a custom springs made to lower his Trac by about 1.5".

So he has 275s on it with no lift and has no issues with rubbing... Impressive.

I went a little different route than most - skinny and tall. I'm running 235/80r17 Michelins on my all-stock 2008 V8 with absolutely no rub at all.

I have factory 16 inch rims and I am looking for bigger tires for a more rugged look. I am looking to replace my P255/70R16 with P265/75R16 tires. does this seem like a good plan? Any other recommendations?

So I picked up some Bridgestone Dueller A/T tires. They are 265/65/18. I went with bigger tire because I like how it fills in the tire well a little better and its a more aggressive tire than the stock 235's. My ST is stock height and I've noticed only slight rubbing at full wheel lock. No big deal. I may ever doa TRUXXX level kit at some point. Overall I'm pretty happy.
