I read what everyone else had to say about the tire swap. I went to the Ford ealier and they said they could not put the BFG TKO's on either because of the LT rating. I think I am going to go out of pocket. I was wondering how much of a difference the 30x9.50R15 is compared to the 235/75R15. Do they fit all right and what are the difference in look. I saw some 235 BFG's and the look very skinny, I like wider tires myself. Will the differnce in height hit anything or mess up mileage, ABS sensors, correct speed, etc. I have a 96 Limited and it seems lower because of the molded mud flaps and the steps on the side. Let me know the debate is going on in my head. Iwas actually thinking of trying to get a wholesale price 5 for me and 4 for two of my friends' J**PS, maybe 13 will be cheaper, just a thought. They say that the TKO program keeps the prices competitive and it is hard to get them at a lower cost.
Any info will be appreciated.

If I could do it over again, I'd go with 31s over 30s.

Personally, I think it is ridiculous that they won't allow LT tires. I think you should push the issue, in a nice respectful way, and see if that helps any. If it is anything like the Firestone replacement program, every retailer is making up it's own rules. Call Ford's customer service 800 number directly.

Haxaw, here are some pics of mine. I got 30x9.50x15 BFG Mud Terrains during the recall. I had to trim a little bit because of the new rims.
