I recently completed replaceing my drivers door hinges both top and bottom. I wasnt taking my time and i forgot to unplug the 4x4 switch harness. And it pulled the trim panel off with it still pluged in and the buttons seperated from the back of the switch. The inside of the switch was exposed and the little green light thats in there CAN BE REPLACE, with a different color( the green is produced by a green sleeve over the top of the bulb) or a new bulb the bulb unscrews. The switch is not broken if u look carefully there a little tabs on the back take a flat head screw driver and pry it off. Another thing I remember reading about people starting there truck and have the 4x4 and the lowrange light lit dimly, it also happened to me, and someone on here said that it could be light from something else. Well its not I happened to start the truck with the switch seperated and the lights were lit dimly. Dont know why the heck it did this but it was the accual lights that were lit.
