2 questions...
ok i have been doing a lot of reading about bypassing the amp. I have a 1998 sport. From what i understand if i buy this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-42hQZB...c=11&g=103000&I=120705008&o=m&a=1&cc=01&avf=Y
i plug it into the wire that goes into the amp and run it all the way up to my stock head unit? and that way i can run my speakers normally without them randomly cutting out on me.
my second question is about just rewiring the HU to speakers instead of bypassing the amp. Doesnt seem all that hard just time consuming. Any draw backs to using 14 or 16 gauge wire and running it directly from the head unit to each speaker? if i do this will it matter that the stock amp is not bypassed?
i have searched a lot but am still a little confused. if anyone can help me out by answering these questions it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.
