Originally posted by AlaskanJack Yep actually my steering has been wearing on the sway bar link. There is a nice groove wore in it. I also noticed that the steering has been rubbing on the axle drop bracket.
So which drop bracket are you suggesting replacing? The one on the swaybar or the axle?
No replacing, just removing the drop bracket for the sway bar and putting the sway bar back up on the frame where it belongs. THen I recommend getting the longer sway bar links from Skyjacker or maybe some Wrangler Quick Disco's.
I'd leave the sway bar black with red bushings. Black and red looks sweet.
Well I wanted to post a pic but the only one I found was RFR2212's so I have to give him credit for this pic. His Skyjacker lift is painted red and I think it looks good as an accent especially with the red in the side molding.
