one tip on the seafoam, do it outside not in the garage. I made that mistake the first time I used it, had to wait 7-8 minutes for the garage to clear out.
Ahhh, we assumed you got the engine cleaner. EVERYONE here (practically) swears by this stuff to clean out the carbon build-up in your engine. Works wonders with higher mileage trucks, gets rid of pinging alot of times, truck runs smoother, and gets slightly better MPG,...the thing is that it looks like a war zone when you put it in (WHITE SMOKE!!!) Wouldnt be a bad investment!
Unhook the vacuum line that goes to the the throttle body and let it suck the seafoam out of the can gradually while working the throttle to keep it from dying. This method works MUCH better than putting it in the oil or fuel, although those methods are recommended also.
