toe hook rating???

G'day just a quick question.......... does anyone know what that rating is of the standard tow hook under the 97 explorer (xlt) it is under the front axle????

Hi Scotty,
I have a 97XLT, but don't have a standard tow hook on my Explorer. Do you have a picture of this tow hook?
You aren't by chance talking about the hook like things on the lower control arm that you use to jack up the truck with are you?

no i don't have a pic but will get one for you, it is not the jacking hooks it is actually a solid tow ring between the two jacking hooks...
