I just put in a (liter/quart) of lucas conditioner in my 94 a4ld, it was down a little bit but not much. I am in the preventative maintenance mode right know so thought I would add some good juice. Turns out it is overfilled a wee bit and I want to know if the extra fluid in there builds up too much pressure will it vent out of the overflow tube. There is nothing wrong with the a4ld(touch wood) I just want to keep it that way...so will the extra fluid vent out the tube or will it leak out the front seal and if it does leak out the front seal what kind of trouble am I looking at????

Of the few times I've overfilled my tranny, in both my blazer and X, its just flowed out the vent tube. All over the bottom of the truck and my back hatches, if I would have know I def. would of drained some out. But I had no bad effects.

Overfilling a trannie does not increase line pressures.. it does not blow seals.... it may cause some foaming and a quart over is not a great idea but if you are not up to loosening pan bolts, it may just vent overboard.
