too much ice!

brutal last week up here in quebec.. was driving along on my way to work the road was fine, and out of nowhere 4 inch thick ice covered the rest of the road:frustrate, to avoid rear-ending the car in front of me turned toward the snowbank, i ended up sliding right by the snowbank and right into a cement bus shelter! luckily i wasn't injured at all in the crash! here's some pics, didnt have camera with me on scene so their from the body shop where it is getting it's life back!

to make matters worse, the back end ends up sliding out and hitting the car i tried to avoid!

that's insane but how did you smash the front passenger end and then clip the drivers rear? did you spin when you hit?

yeah after i hit the back slid out onto the ice into the car in front of me, breaking the park sensors! luckily everythings covered, just not sure yet how much the damage is. oh yeah! i bought a chrome grill replacement too and it just came in today! 5 days after the accident. good thing there was a delay in shipping! the grill would have been smashed up really bad!

WoW man same side as my fender bender the other week but mine was no where near this bad! I feel for you! Hope you get it fixed!

its repairable, getting it back sometime this week or next, damages were about 5-6k! crazy. glad insurance covered it. and no i'm not driving a loaner, the loaners up here in quebec are mostly likely all little old honda's. My father has a 2007 f-150 and he barely uses it, so i'm borrowing that until i get mine back

stock XLT, it has a touch screen pioneer head unit in from when i used to drive it last year, and tinted driver and passenger windows and those sylvania(i think their called) white headlights, thats it though, heres a pic.

oh and JIGAWHAAT i made a mistake, i just called the body shop they said damage is nearly 12 thousand! thats crazy.. about half of what i paid for the X lol
