Has anyone out there tried a device called the Tornado? They have info-mercials every day touting the benefits of using one. They finally got too me! I ordered one the other morning but it takes 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Any experiences with one? Thanks!!!:us:

theres another post about these on here....most of what i've heard is bad though, but that's just me.

I wish you would have searched here before spending your money. Many many posts on the pro's and cons of the Tornado. Pro's: you now have a shiney paperweight if you choose not to install it. Cons: you're out $$$, it probably won't help, and it may hurt performance.

Good luck with it anyway

Try the "Search" feature. They have been discussed many times, altho I am not sure you want to hear it.:(

edit: GEEZ, 3 posts at the exact same time

I see that it has been discussed before. Is there anyone out there who has had first-hand experience with one. The replies I've seen don't express that!

Thanks JamesT. I guess I'll have to experience it myself. The engine in the test was modified. That could affect the outcome. Back to square one!

exhaust and a K&N doesnt really qualify as a modded engine... not to me, anyway. :D

at any rate, i feel the same outcome will appear with a stocker. the only place i have ever seen to actually claim the Tornado gives you hp and mileage are from the makers of the Tornado.

You forgot the Autologic chip, Steeda pulleys . Just trying to keep it honest. Thanks for your opinion

My dad put one of these in his stock Bronco, he took it out cause he didnt notice any gains from it.

Joking around a buddy got one and put on his wife's stock (meaning it even had the air silencer in it still) 87 Gt convertable.
It lost 4 hp and 8 ft lbs at the rear wheels witht he tornado in it.

The tornado SUCKS! I put it in and it did nothing. It was a complete waste of money. Spend on something that will help like a KKM intake kit or a chip. Don't waste your money!

Sounds like you are trying to justify buying it still. You can still cancel your order It will do nothing for your truck at all.

They still sell these things?

pulleys won't affect the intake

the tornado is a joke

That stupid info-mercial is on every morning, trying to bilk more people out of their $$.

OK, You guys convinced me. I called to cancel the order but its already been shipped. They said to refuse it and when they receive it my money would be credited to my credit card. Thanks for the information! Razor

Make sure you are very up on getting your CC credited. I wouldnt doubt that they will just sit on there hands and not care about your money.
