Well I can report that the Mustang made it off with less viable damage, but probably more under plastic damage as the hit was a glancing blow. However my Navajo took it right in the door, rear panel and axle.

Both insurance companies say it is a total loss due to the price to fix the body work.

It was a low speed glancing blow, but still was a big hit as I was just cursing relaxed with an arm on the window sill.

Is any one in the SF Bay Area interested in a very well maintained stock 1994 135k auto Navajo for the salvage value (<$400)? I would like her to go to a good home rather than the junk yard.

925-305-7755 is my cell

Man if you were not in cali. I would buy your Navajo. I could have that fixed in a Weekend and With as rare as Navajo's are getting I would hate to see it go to a salvage yard for that little bit of damage.

Yea, I know I could have it fixed, get a Eddie Bauer Green door (ha!) and take it as salvage, but my daughter is turning 4 now and my repair time is limited. I am going to get something new, a little soft-roader, nothing hard core 4x4.

that sux bout ur navajo

That should buff right out??? :D

If you were in the southeast i`d probably buy it. I almost got one hit same place as yours but harder with the rear axle torn off the springs for $100 earlier this year but it was sold before i could get it.

Sorry to hear about your damage  When vehicles rack up miles and years it gets easier to put them down. It can be expensive to keep them around and even more so when you have to pay someone to do the work.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.. This one made me laugh.. :D

Ouch! It's the same story with mine. I paid ODOT $200 to clear the salvage that the insurance company put on my title. You can't do the same? Seems such a waste...

If I had $400 laying around and a place to keep it, I would buy it.
