I'm trying to replace my thermostat on my 91 explorer and the alternator bracket is in the way of one of the bolts. I'm going to have to remove it. Would anyone happen to know what are the torque specs of the bracket when putting it back ?

I don't remember having to remove anything but the three bolts holding the thermostat housing to the front of the block, but "good-n-tight" should be fine for that bracket. They are fairly large bolts. Don't have the torque specs available. Be very careful removing and tightening the thermostat housing bolts. It's easy to strip the threads. Remove the upper radiator hose from the housing to make it easier to line up the bolts.
