torsion bar bolts

I was doing the tt on my truck today, I cranked the bolts up all the way then backed them off two full turns. This only gave me about 1.5" of lift. Can I go to home depot and get some grade 8 bolts that are .5" longer so I can get a full 2" I did the AAL and shackles in the back and I need the extra half inch up front to level it out some more.

Yes you can do that or you can just tighten the stock bolts all the way.

Thanks Hartman, when I tightened the bolts up all of the way it still wasn't enough lift. I think im going to get the bolts that are a half an inch longer and go from there. Would anyone happen to know what size the stock torsion bar bolts are?

M12-1.75 x 70 mm is the stock bolt.

I have the same problem as you, so I'm trying to find some 100 mm bolts for my Sport.
