I've been looking into this extra lift through the torsion bar twist thing, but looking through all the posts I am incredibly confused as to the whole process and idea behind it. I was just wondering if anybody could just explain it to me. Thanks

95+ model trucks front suspension uses torsion bars instead of coil springs to hold it up. These torsion bars are horizontal to the frame of the truck and actually twist as the wheels go over objects or what ever. The front of the torsion bar is connected to the lower control arm, and the back is connected to the frame. They can be adjusted so that they will pick the front end up higher. by adjusting the back end of the torsion bars you can lift the truck around 2", any more than that will cause binding in the CV joints and will cause premature wear in them.
I see that you have a 92. Your truck doesn't have torsion bars. It has coils springs.
