Torsion Bars?

Hey everyone, I have a quick questions about the torsion bars on my 1993 xlt 4x4. What do they do, how they work? How would one adjust them and why would one adjust them? Just got the new explorer and I'm trying to figure everything out.

Piece of cake for you: you have no torsion bars. They are part of the redesigned IFS front suspension put in the Explorers beginning in 1995.
