I know that 2" is the highest that most of you recommend for lifting a 4x4 with a TT, but how high have you seen one go without damage? I installed my Warrior shackles yesterday and they gave me a little over 2" of lift, I then cranked up the torsion bars to level it out, since it was in a nose dive before I starterd it took 10 twists to level it resulting in around 3" of lift by TT. Nothing bumps, grinds, squeeks, or otherwise sounds in a strain but I worry about it because of the posts I've read. The guy at the garage that did my wheel alignment told me I shouldn't have anything to worry about since it didn't look like I over-extended anything. What's your opinions.

Pics to come soon, having my film developed this evening.

You have 3 things to worry about when you crank your t-bars to the max. You lose all downward travel(droop), if you hit a bump hard enough you can break a t-bar. The other thing is you CV joints. If you crank your t-bars too much, you can put too much angle on you CV's which will cause them to fail.
