Tow bar

Hi I am in the Uk and just bought an Explorer. The tow bar seems to be built into the bumper. How ever on looking for a UK tow bar they seem to want sell me a complete new tow bar. What is a USA tow hitch like. Does it fit to This integral bar. I Fancy our hitches are lower than yours.

Welcome to the site.

To fit a tow bar in the UK you must use one that meets the EEC regulations. So that rules out putting the ball in the bumper (fender). Whitter do a full diy kit. See my pics.
