Towing and ARC

Hi all

Followed the forums for a few week after getting my first Explorer, a 99 XLT. Lots of great stuff here for sure.

Whats the feeling with towing and the load leveling system? I have a boat trailer that has a ball weight of around 260lb. Can't use a weight distribution hitch as its a single drawbar trailer and the weight is within spec but do people turn it off for towing, leave it on etc?

Whats the general feeling?

I've never had ARC, but I'd leave it on and go.

Do you have an owner's manual?
If not, get one. It will certainly be covered there.
