towing with 2006 explorer

I have a 2006 explorer ( 4.o liter V-6 ) and was wondering if there is any problem towing my utility trailer with my truck, also is there a external trans cooler availible for this year.

If you don't have the towing package, you can tow 3500lbs with your Explorer. That should be plenty for a utility trailer. Well, unless you load if up with lots heavy stuff.
I'm sure any tranny shop would be able to install an aftermarket tranny cooler for you. Not a big deal. Keep in mind though, the V6 Explorer's towing package also includes 3.73 gearing in order to tow 5000lbs.
