Well I'm thinking about doing the TT mod with some shackles on the rear, and I was just wondering how this would effect towing. I have an 18' boat that I tow in the summers and occasionally a medium sized utility trailer. Would this be too much stress for these mods? Would it be better to go with AAL or does it matter? I am only thinking of lifting 2-3". Thanks for any help.

you will be fine, as long as it's nothing too much heavier than that.....

You won't break a shackle, but the more weight you put on there, the more braking becomes a liability. I towed a 17 foot boat PACKED full of stuff, probably an extra 500 pounds worth of crap, when i moved, and i had long deaver springs with no rear sway bar, and she did fine. it was a little waggy on the highway, but overall fine. just drive nice....

Yeah. just be responsible, and you'll be fine....
