I purchased four TPMS-12 sensors off e bay for my 2015 explorer's snow tires. Is there a way to test them before I have them mounted?

I'm not saying there isn't a way to test them just that I'm not aware of a way. I don't think you can use your Explorer since it is reading the ones you currently have installed. The only thing that I believe could be an issue is the batteries in the sensors you bought but they tend to work for quite a long period. So far I haven't read of anyone having to replace the batteries in theirs. Unless you have a tool for reading them, the dealership should be able to check that out.

yes, take them to a tire shop, should take only a few seconds each. If they are unbranded ebay ones I had some that worked for a few weeks then stopped. I'm not going to trust the knock offs again.

These are Fomco OEM units. Thanks.
