Traction Control and ABS

Hey guys. Got our first bog snow in several years here in eastern NC. My month old 07 Sport Trac did awesome. Traction control and ABS did great. Couple of questions though. When out driving in the snow and the traction control kicks in there is a sound similar to a vibrating cell phone from behind the tachometer. When the ABS kicks in the brake pedal has a slight shudder to it. Neither of these occur in normal driving. Are these just physical and audio warnings that the systems are engaged? U guys get the same reactions? Or do I have a rising issue?

That's how ABS and traction control work. Its a daily event up here, I don't even notice it anymore.

I believe that vibration is the ABS booster pump. And +1, you quickly get use to it, the first few times feeling/hearing this stuff were unnerving.
