Tranny Filter $60.00

I know that this is a topic that has been discussed alot, but I was just wondering somthing. I have a 02 with about 38K on it. I just had the T-fluid changed and want to put on a Tranny filter. I called a Guy at AAMCO about it and he said that they could do it in about an hour for $60, that includes labor and kit. I would to it my self, but the 02's don't have a Fill stick for the Trans. I don't want to lose or add to much fluid.

Go ahead and have them do it. $60 including labor is a pretty good deal. I think the parts alone are $25 from Summit. It took me about hour and a half to do the job including finding a safe place for it. I'd make sure that the unit they use uses a PH8A size filter (stock 302/289/4.0 etc.) as it makes replacement much easier.
