howdy folks...just finishing off a complete engine and tranny swap on my 1991 explorer .. after 500,000 km the engine and tranny couldnt make it through one last winter.. replaced the engine with one from a 92 with only 200 km on it...started up and purrs like a kitten.. here is my problem...the a4ld i installed is out af a pre 1991 ranger...year is uncertain but it had a complete rebuild and was then never put back into the ranger...infront of the neutral safety switch as another electrical hookup that senses the overdrive and converter lock and unfortunatley it is molded into the tranny case itself from internally...the wiring on my 91 explorer is a 3 prong connection...and low and behold the new tranny is only 2....crap crap crap....my thoughts are just using some spade connectors and splicing into the 91 wiring...dilema is i do not have an accurate wiring of which wire does what of the 3 available...any hints or helps would rock...thanks all
