tranny or transfer case ?

hi, just had my 1997 explorer transfer case changed and everthing was fine when test driving then suddeny the transmission quit no gears and no park and a whinning noise.I was wondering if t case went again or if it is the transmission?. thanks

so you have no moement or what? are the rpms on the engine still registereing? do you know if the tranny is turning or if the speedometer incresing with gas? i would suspect the tcase if you just had it replaced, normally a tranny will give some kind of notice befroe failing, and even if a tranny fails, its park pawl will still work....
