I have a 4.0 liter 95 Ranger with a F57A manual 5 speed transmission. The tranny is bad. I bought a new tranny from a dealer that said it should fit. It arrived and looks great. Pulled my old tranny, the clutch hydraulic line quick disconnect is different in the two trannys. It appears the new F07A is from a 1990 2.3 liter. Can I make this replacement work, if so how?
