Ok guys here goes...
When the temperature outside is cold in the morning, the tranny delays shifting out of first gear. It stays in first for about a block or sometimes two. Once it shifts into second, then it works perfectly.
It does not do it all the time only certain occasions when it is very cold. The only other time it ever does anything like this besides in the early cold morning is if i drive it up to the snow or something. Again it is very cold outside it wants to act up like this.
Any other time and even most mornings it works perfectly. This first started about a year and a half ago. It has not done this in a very long time. I just went to mammoth to snow board for new years though and it was doing it again, but now that i am back in San Diego it is working fine again.
Tranny fluid is synthetic. Fluid and filter changed recently. Fluid does not smell burnt. Looks good , and is the proper level.
Any ideas?
