So, after my first thread, it was stated, then backed up by my good mechanic friend that I need to replace my transmission. Ok, I can deal with that.

But i have some questions about the clutch. I am going to replace it, but what issues should I be looking for, possible difficulties, job specific tools I may not have thought about, anything that a first timer like myself would need to know. If you could go back in time to when you first did it, what would you tell yourself?

Also, don't worry about me being in over my head so much, as I am doing this with a seasoned mechanic. We both just want to make doubly sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

P.S., I kind of feel bad about coming in here and adding to the what appears to be constant flood of "help me!" threads... But I do appreciate it mightily, as I am sure everyone else does. Thanks guys!

Side question, unrelated. How do I add my vehicle specs, to be shown with all the rest of my info next to my posts?

No, basicly it is the same except that a 2wd has a tailshaft housing where the driveshaft attaches, and a 4dr will have a transfer case where the front and rear driveshafts attach.

The transmission/clutch etc is the same.

Perfect! Thanks a bunch. Now to find an alignment tool....

Should come with a new clutch, I have used a broomstick but you have to make sure the friction disk is in there centered, should use an alignment tool if possible and you lack the experience to know how to do it.
