Solenoids are easy to change at least. I'm sorry to hear it's still giving you problems though.

Sounds like the torque converter lockup is not unlocking on downshift. It's probably the solenoid.
I'm not too hands-on with this trans. Is the TCC solenoid wired separately outside of the trans case? If so, unplug it and see if the problem goes away. If so, you need a solenoid.
