I have a 95 explorer limited that was driveing great .until last week while going into a left turn the trans quit working. at high rpm it will barely move forward in all gears and the same with reverse.when backing off the trailer on the ramps it suddenly grabbed and drove fine for about 5 feet then went back to slipping and a new viberation has appeared in park and neutral but smoothes out when in any gear.did a filter change the pan had a little metal in it nothing tragic . the car is a 03/95 so the trans is a 4r55e the door sticker is a T and it has a sticker on the trans pan that has 4R44E/4R55E and a warrenty sticker of 12/95 the tps only matched 94 and other misc parts did also. the transfer case is a 4405.the trans tag is unreadable whats a easy way to I.D,this trans.and any idea of what the problem could be.any help would be appreciated.could it be the torque converter it was the t.q. and all is great again thanks for looking
