Trans pump whine (auto)

The guy that i bought my X off of replaced the tranny after some kid pulled a heavy trailer in O.D. I noticed that the tranny is whining when in park and on an idle. I have not check to see if it does while in gear in an idle. My father thought the guy might have put a set of gears backwords and now are wearing in a different spot. Just wondering what u guys think. Its an automatic. Fluid levels are good. It was whining when i bought it.

I have a whine in mine too. And I know how to fiz it!
Step one: Grasp the Volume knob.
Step two: Turn clockwise until sounds is no longer heard
Step three: Don't worry about it until something else happens.

Seriously though, I think its just the nature of the tranny wearing.
