Had a new Carter fuel pump installed on my 93 which solved the starting problem, but it sure gives off a noticeable "whine" inside the cabin. Can't hear it at highway speed; mostly at idle.
Did I just get a bad one? I thought Carter (Federal Mogul owned) was a good brand. Other option is an AC fuel pump, but its warranty is not as good as Carter's.
