Trans shudder

I own a 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.6L .185,000 miles noticed trans shudder between 30- 40 mph. Added Dr. Tranny's shudder fix. Works Great! No more shudder.

I had the same issue at about 145,000 miles. Changed the fluid to Valvoline Synthetic and after about 2,000 miles the shudder was gone. Now at 190,000 it still shifts perfectly.....

Where did you add the trans fluid too? I am not getting proper shifting on my transmission and i would like to hold off on rebuilding or buying a new transmission. I have over 180,000+ km's and have pulled a small boat and trailer behind it. I have done very limited off-roading as well.

I actually took it to the dealer with 2 gallons of Valvoline synthetic. They did the rest.....
